Snow Day!!

We have had quite the winter here in MO! Last week we had a big time "wintry mix" as the news calls it. Ice and snow for practically the whole week! Needless to say, schools were out and we just had to do some sledding! Cammie and the kids came over to sled on our hill in our back yard. Let me just say, in the summer the hill looked less than steep and seemed like it would be at the least half way fun in the snow....well, looks can be deceiving! Looking down from the top of this hill quickly changed our perspective! And add icy snow and you get quite the sled ride down. Thank goodness the house was there to stop us! Jer kept sledding right into the back of the house! It was a lot of fun though! Stevie, though, didn't think much of it! He fell asleep all bundled up hanging over my arm! We were helping Jer and Briggs climb the hill and watching and cheering as the sledded down, and next thing we know, Steve's dead asleep! Anyway, here are some cute pics from the day!

Em & Jer about to go crashing into the house! WEEEEEE! we couldn't stop laughing!

Cammie and Jer at the bottom of the hill, bouncing off of the house! Once again, can't stop laughing!

The girls, Cammie, Ali, and Em. Ali was less than enthusiastic about sledding. So she calmly sat on the stairs and ate candy hearts left over from Valentine's Day! What a cutie!

This picture took forever to get right! We had to prop the camera up on top of Cammie's van and then I had to run through the ice and snow to the stairs in time for the shot! It took a couple trys...but way cute, and a little off center!

Steve...what a silly little man!

Yup...he's asleep!

WEEEEEEE! Jer and I were atempting to go down together, but we started to slip and I had to jump on quick! I think I fell off right after this shot!

Here's sweet Ali eating her hearts and trying to figure out what these crazy people are doing!
