Last weekend Miriam and Marcus were in town, so we all decided to go to the pumpkin patch! The place we went to last year was closed this year, so we heard about nearby Aholt Farms and thought we'd give it a try. Some how, I got put in charge (ok, I probably volunteered) of getting directions, and everyone would follow us. Well, the directions were completely wrong and we ended up taking over an hour to drive to a place that, as we figured out on the way home, was only 10 minutes away. But, it was a beautiful day, and the drive was gorgeous, so all was not lost after the hour of being lost.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be pretty hot, even though it was beautiful out! So we didn't quite get the entire "fall-feeling-in-the-air" experience, but we had fun none the less! For those of you who read Cammie's blog (my sister-in-law), she talked up the new version of Picasa on her last post. So, I am now as cool as Cammie, because I downloaded Picasa 3 and did some collages from our Pumpkin Patch visit. It really is awesome! I took so many pictures that day, and this makes it so much easier to view! Just click on the collage to view it bigger. Yay Picasa! Yay Cammie! Yay pumpkin patches! Enjoy!

The kids all loved the big slide, especially when sliding down on the towels...they went super fast!

I love that Steve has so many cousins close by. He loves it too...he is always trying to keep up with his big cousins. Unfortunately, Garrison was not in the picture taking mood, so I didn't get any good ones of him, but these sure are cute!

These corn boxes are big around here...and they're way neat! Steve didn't seem to be too impressed though! In fact, he didn't like them at all...especially when daddy tried to bury him!
