I love birthdays! April is a good month for birthdays, especially when the birthdays are after April 15! Luckily, Jesse’s mom and I both have birthdays after the close of busy tax season! Unfortunately, this year I did not feel very much in the birthday mood. I’m sure the puking and feeling nauseous had nothing to do with it! So, we decided to combine birthday celebrations this year. Cammie and Ben had a wonderful (and very yummy) birthday dinner for Kathy and me on my birthday. Then we had, a Broadbent family tradition for birthdays, strawberry shortcake. We sang and blew out candles twice, once for Kathy, once for me! It was so nice to be with family and have a relaxing birthday. Happy Birthday April birthdays!

After dinner, the kids (and uncle Jesse) played Dance Dance Revolution for Wii. Steve even tried to get in on the action!
The week before my birthday was our monthly recipe exchange with the sisters in our ward. Cammie was so sweet and so sneaky and had everyone secretly bring my a freezer meal for my birthday. I think the was seriously the best birthday gift ever! I had food to eat that I didn’t have to think about or cook myself, and would keep my alive! Cammie also made me a cake and everyone sang happy birthday to me. It was so wonderful. Thanks to all my sweet friends to cooked for me and have helped take care of me. And a humungo thanks to my sweet sister-in-law who is making it possible for me to survive another pregnancy! I love you!

I have to agree with you April Birthdays are the best! (Arlo was born April 30th) But I also want to wish you a very belated birthday!
