My Baby Sister

A few weeks ago, my youngest sister Melody came to visit us for 2 weeks.  She is almost 13 and so much fun!  Unfortunately, her prego big sis wasn’t as much fun as I could have been!  But we still did some shopping, made a lot of treats, watched a lot of movies, fished, spent time with some of Jesse’s family that was still in town, and even got Mel hooked on Alias!  Here’s some pictures of our fun! The first time we went fishing, Mel didn’t catch anything… 

Neither did Steve…

But Jesse did!  The one fish of the night! 

Mel needed some help, so Steve jumped right in!  He was mostly entertained with throwing rocks into the water, and I was occupied keeping him out of the water!

 

We picked blackberries one day…and Steve kept eating them!  We got enough though to make a blackberry cobbler for our grandma’s birthday!

Then we went fishing at a different pond with all the Broadbent cousins…EVERYONE caught a bunch here!

Mel’s first catch!  Yay Mel!  She caught the cutest little fish!

 
Steve and I even caught one!

Mel was here for 4th of July too, way fun!  I think I posted about this already!

Steve would come wake Mel up every morning…he calls her Mel Mel!

And they would play duets on the piano!  Steve loved this!

And then my not so baby sis had to go home :(  We sure had fun though!  Can’t wait til next year!
