Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the food, I love being with family, I just love this time of year! With my due date being the day before Thanksgiving, I am really glad I had little Dan 8 days before so that I could be a part of all the fun! And by that I mean have Thanksgiving at our house! Yup…it was great! We had all our family the lives here in MO plus our friends Kasey, Molly and their 2 kiddos. It was a full house, with a TON of food and a TON of pies, and it was awesome! Cammie and I made these ADORABLE turkey shirts for our kids using their handprints that we traced onto fabric. Even baby Dan!! Steve was SO excited to wear his turkey shirt and now wants to wear it all the time! I let him wear it to bed!
One more pic, just for good measure! Cammie and I are crazy when it comes to getting a good picture!
This was the little kid table…
this is where they wanted to eat!
After our big dinner, Kasey supervised the outdoor activities! I swear I have like 5 pictures of him on his phone! Too funny!
It wasn’t exactly warm, but it was a beautiful day!
Then it was time to get down to some serious business! While the dads and kids relaxed and watched a movie, us mommies charted our Black Friday course! We spent a couple hours figuring out exactly what we wanted and where and what time we had to be there! We all had lists! Cammie and I made it to Wal-Mart at 4:30 am and shopped until about 4:00 that afternoon! Yes, we are basically crazy! But, we got everything we wanted for some great prices! I love Black Friday!
While the mommies were scheming and the daddies were watching a movie, Ali and Steve were watching Tinkerbell in our bedroom! Steve didn’t get a nap that day, so after about 20 minutes…
dead to the world! Needless to say, waking up was so much fun! Not!
I am so thankful for the life I have! I have a wonderful hubby, 2 adorable kiddos, a great family, and great friends. I have a home to live in, I always have food to eat. My husband has a job, and I get to stay home with our kids. We have cars that work, and we live in a great area! Life is so good!
