We had quite the fun St. Patrick’s Day yesterday! We had a cousin party with all 15 Missouri cousins, and it was so fun! We were so lucky to have AMAZING weather, especially since it dumped a ton of snow on us Monday! (that’s MO for ya!) I put together a cute little leprechaun treasure hunt and had all the kids going up and down all over my house! They ended up at the “end of the rainbow” in the backyard with a bag full of gold treats. Everyone was SO cute in their green and it was so fun to make memories with the cousins!
On Wednesday, a bunch of us mommas got together over at our friend Angeline’s house to make these adorable shirts! I love how cute they turned out! 
All week Steve was so excited that we were having a party. He would set up “pretend parties” and organize everything perfectly! When I told him that we have to wear green so we don’t get pinched he started to get a little concerned. Then, when I was explaining to him that a sneaky little leprechaun might come to our house during his nap and leave clues to a treasure, Steve said that I needed to lock his door so the leprechaun wouldn’t pinch him! The stuff he says keeps me laughing on a regular basis!

One of the clues was left in the bath tub along with a lot of green glitter! Everyone thought it was pretty funny! Another clue was left on the toilet and the leprechaun left a little green pee in the potty too! The little kids all got a kick out of that, the big ones were too smart and knew it was just food coloring! They’re a tough group to impress! 
Drex reading one of the clues. When I planned out the clues, I thought it would be a good idea to have them lead upstairs and then downstairs and then back up, but that turned out to not be the best plan! The little kids kept getting left behind!

After all the fun and treats, the boys were hot and so the shirts came off! I love boys! and yay for spring which might actually stay this time?!?!

Of all the things I could comment about, here's what I chose: I can't believe that this is the first picture you've posted with your new homemade TV/shelves arrangement upstairs! I almost forgot that you had changed everything around, and I was thinking...did they do the treasure hunt at 2 houses? I guess I'll just have to VISIT and see your living room's new "do" for myself! Oh, and my favorite was the green lepruchan pee, by the way. :) Way to be GREEN!
