We had quite the busy weekend! Not only did we celebrate Easter, but we celebrated THREE birthdays! The whole family came to our house Sunday evening for a yummy Easter dinner, an Easter egg hunt, and 3 different birthday cakes! Unfortunately, it’s been raining, storming and tornado-ing for the past 2 weeks, so the egg hunt had to be inside…but it was still way fun! We’ve kind of got the have-the-whole-family-over thing down! We moved our living room into our piano room and made a huge table to seat 14 adults, added a kid table that wasn’t even close to big enough for 15 hungry kids, threw a towel on the floor for the rest of said hungry kids, and ate up some yummy food! Grandma Kathy had her traditional “Easter Nests” ready for the egg hunt and while the dads contained the kids in the guest room, us moms hid the eggs all over the house! This included 2 golden eggs with $$ in them! Then we let the kids go crazy! I think we hid somewhere around 150 eggs, so it took a little while for them to find them all! Jer and Garrison were the lucky golden egg finders! After all the fun and us moms torturing the kids for pictures, we sang Happy Birthday to me, Kathy and Marcus and ate some serious cake! It was a great day! We seriously love having family close by to spend holidays together!

I had a great birthday! I have an amazing husband who loves me unconditionally and spoiled me like crazy! I have great friends that make me feel loved. I have great sisters (in-law) that make me feel special. I have a great family that always thinks of me! I have the cutest kids that drive me crazy and that I couldn’t live without! I love my life! And I love it when it’s my birthday!
