Easter

Easter Sunday.  It started off with Easter Baskets and smiles, and a little bribery that resulted in some SUPER cute pictures, and then it turned into melt downs at church and Dan NOT staying in nursery (which hasn’t ever happened) and then Dan falling asleep on me in Relief Society (which has also never happened) and Steve refusing to go to primary and spending 15 minutes screaming about it in the car in the parking lot, and Jesse and I wondering why we even got out of bed that morning!  But then we went to the Blackburn’s with the whole fam and everything was magically better.  Our kids LOVE their cousins, and cousins make everything right in the world.  I’m so thankful for cousins!

  Our kids wake up early…which means they saw their Easter baskets early.  But, the smiles make up for it…most of the time!Handsome Dan…seriously, how cute is this kid!!

Liz was awesome!  She went all out for our family Easter get together!  This year Charlie’s parents AND Cammie’s parents were both in town!

And of course, we had an Easter egg hunt!  We locked all the kids in the basement, while the adults hid a bunch of candy filled eggs in the back yard…plus 3 golden eggs filled with money!

And…since we were all together, celebrated a few birthdays!  Cammie’s, Jesse’s, Mom’s and mine!  Happy Birthday to us!
As soon as we were done singing, and out of no where, Beau climbed up and blew out both candles before we even new what happened!  LOVE it!!  And LOVE our family.  Good times!
