Our 6 Month Old

Yesterday Steve had his 6 month check up. He is a healthy baby boy, growing strong! He weighed 18 lbs and was 25 1/2 in long. Totally normal! right in the middle of the charts! So far in Steve's 6 months of life, he has accomplished quite a lot. He learned how to eat, sleep and poop! Next came lifting his head up, which he could do pretty much from day one. Then it was smiling. He learned how to roll over, and how to play with toys. He now eats veggies and fruit and has 2 teeth! He can almost sit by himself, and sometimes will for short periods of time. He loves to jump in his johnny jump up, and LOVES to scoot around in his walker (thanks Cammie!!). He chews on EVERYTHING, and drools like a maniac! He smiles all the time, especially at daddy when he calls him his big boy. And his tongue is still ALWAYS out! He discovered his toes recently, and tries really hard to get them into his mouth...not quite there yet! He loves to look at books, and chew on them, and absolutely LOVES to tear magazines and try to eat the pages! We have so much fun with our little pumpkin head, chubsicle, big boy, little man. He is truly a joy!
