Yay for apple season! I just love living in an area with seasons! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons, especially here. Saturday, along with several friends, went out to an apple orchard to pick apples. It's the same family that runs the U-Pick berries that we frequented this summer, which made it nice to be able to support the local farmers! Anyway, so they have a whole apple picking experience at their market, which was just a blast! We took a little hay ride out to the apple orchard, picked some apples, then came back to the market and played!! Here's how our day went:

First stop, find out how tall Steve is! Such a classic fall picture!

Next...peek-a-boo through the apple basket. Another classic!

Then it was over the river and through the woods to the apple trees! Here we are with Steve's favorite babysitter, Brianna! We love Brianna!

Steve helped pick some apples...ok, one apple. He actually pulled this one off the tree and it hit him in the head! Oops!

Taking a break from picking apples to walk around. I just LOVE this picture! Steve can't walk on his own yet, but loves for us to help him out, especially daddy.

Mmmmm, this looks tasty!

The manly men...such troopers for helping with the babies! This is Jesse with Steve, our friend Matt holding his little guy Tal, and his daughter Emma helping hold the bag of apples.

Our sweet little fam, in front of an apple tree! We had to take tons of pictures of course! Would you expect anything less?!

Then it was back to the market to play! Steve tried out a big tricycle...not too impressed.

The wagon was a little more impressive, but not much! He sure looks cute in it though!

Then it was time for us girls to slide down the big slide! We had to do a re-take from the failed picture of all of us racing down the giant slide at the fair this summer! So here we are, Brianna, Angeline, Heidi, Cammie, and me!

Angeline and me racing down the slide! The one at the fair was way better...and way faster!!

Cammie's turn!! Head first! Go Cammie!

And finally, the day wouldn't be complete without scaring our poor child with greedy goats! Right after we took this picture, the goat looking at Steve's hand tried to bite off his finger and scared Steve to tears! Poor kid!
It was so fun to spend the morning in the beautiful outdoors with good friends and family! I now plan on making a bunch of applesauce, and maybe some apple butter. Oh, and I got the BEST apple cider I've ever had! I LOVE FALL!! Happy fall to all!
