Last weekend was a well needed uplift for me! I got to go to Time Out For Women, put on by Deseret Book, in St. Louis-Friday night, and all day Saturday. I carpooled with some friends, and we saw most every woman from our ward there too. It was such an inspiring weekend, and fun to just get out with the girls! Jesse was sweet to stay with Steve...I believe he may have a new appreciation for mothers now!
I didn't take any pictures Friday night, but it was my favorite part overall. Michael McLean spoke/played/sang, and had us all in tears one minute and doubled over laughing the next. He was awesome. Kim Nelson spoke as well, and was another favorite of mine. And Hilary Weeks sang a little bit too. Saturday Hilary Weeks sang and spoke a lot more and also became a favorite of mine. She is very...normal! I love it!
These are the other speakers on Saturday: Jane Clayson Johnson-author of "I am a Mother", Michael Wilcox-institute instructor in Utah, Cherie-beautiful musician, Jason Write-author of "The Wednesday Letter" and "Christmas Jars" (also a favorite), and Pam Hansen-author of "Running with Angels" and Finding the Angel Within".
Here's Cherie Call singing.
And Hilary Weeks-awesome!
Here's some of the Washington Ward ladies...gorgeous!
Here's our van of beautiful ladies! Me, Angeline (+Tal), Nichole, Cammie, and Anna-Lisa.
I don't think anyone wanted the weekend to end, we all came away wanting to be better mothers, better wives, and better women...I know I did. I was also able to add a little strength to my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm truly grateful for it and the role it has in my life. No where else can you find such strength. What a wonderful weekend, with wonderful friends. Can't wait until next year!

How fun Emily! It was fun seeing who the speakers/singer were and photos of them too. I just got back from Time Out in Las Vegas last night and it too was AWESOME and very enriching! We had some different speakers and singers for ours, and some of the same. Hilary was at ours too and wore that same outfit! Isn't she great?! I love her.
hi em, this sounds so great. I love cherie call, she went to my high school, a few years ahead of me
