Our Weekend

So this past weekend was our "weekend away" (at home). That meant I dropped Steve off with Uncle Ben and Aunt Cammie for the whole weekend! It was so nice to spend some quality time with my wonderful hubby. We watched movies, ate Jesse's favorite-China King, went out to eat, and just hung out together. Now, since this was Jesse's Christmas present, he got to choose what we did (even though I did make him watch Mamma Mia with me! but neither one of us liked it!). So we relaxed a lot, and then I went with him to his most favorite thing of all, a UFC fight night! They alternate being at our house or at our friend's house, and Saturday night was at Matt's house. So I dutifully tagged along and Matt's wife, my good friend, Angeline and I tried to not get too grossed out! I have to admit, I did have fun...I think I'm getting used to all the intense fighting! Unfortunately, Jesse's picks did not win, so went home with no belt (so sad!!). Then, Sunday morning we met at church and got our little man back! I walked in first and saw Steve, who had little to no reaction for me, but when daddy walked in, Steve went crazy! It was too cute. We sure missed our little man...our house was so empty and quiet! It's weird to go from having a kid and being in our house to no kid in our house! I think our next weekend away we'll actually go away! Either way, it was a nice little break, especially before tax season, and I love Jesse! Since we didn't really do much picture worthy stuff, I don't have any pics to post! Sorry! Thanks Ben and Cammie for watching Steve!! You rock!
