A favorite family activity, especially for one the size of the Broadbent fam, is a float trip down one of the many rivers in MO. This year was no exception to taking the trip. We did a 9 mile trek down the Meramec river. What a day! It was beautiful weather, despite the thunderstorm predictions. We lazily floated, ate a lot of food, stopped every now and then to swim and fish, and we even found a rope swing that all the dads had to have a go on! Eventually we made it to the pull out spot exhausted and ready for the drive home. Float trips are fun, but man are they tiring!
Jesse and Steve as we set out down the river.
We had 2 big rafts and 1 small raft to hold our whole crew!
Time to throw some rocks in the water! Always fun!
Here’s Jesse about to take a ride on the rope swing…
Nice form! We got great pictures of everyone that did the swing, but you get the idea here!
And, finally, mommy and Steve!
