Brown Family Vacation

Finally!  An update!  Did anyone wonder what happened to the Broadbent's?!  Well we’ve been busy, but I’m finally posting vacation pictures.  Keep in mind we took a TON of pictures in just one week, and I just couldn’t narrow it down any more!  So be prepared for a long post!

At the end of August we flew out to Idaho to meet up with the Brown family at a lake house in McCall, ID on Payette Lake.  What a gorgeous lake!  We spent the entire week relaxing and doing water things…water skiing, tubing, boating, and swimming.  We stayed up late playing games and just had fun together as a family!  Steve was obsessed with making sure no one was missing from the family ever.  Any time he noticed a missing person, he would repeat their name over and over until he found them or they came back.  He especially loved being spoiled by Mel Mel and Ky Ky!  They were always willing to take him down to the beach or feed him M&Ms and fruit snacks!  Steve was in heaven!  The Browns have been doing lake vacations since before I can remember, and this one only could have been better if I wasn’t pregnant and unable to do ANY of the fun water stuff!  That’s probably why we have so many pictures!  Speaking of…Steve had fun trying to eat corn on the cob…he worked really hard at it for quite a while!

Steve loves to jump into water to one of us.  Unfortunately, this water was freezing for his little body, so he didn’t love it as much.

Steve LOVED the boat.  He and I went on many of the boat outings.  He even fell asleep a few times.

Steve met his cousin Jay for the first time and LOVED that “baby.”  He always wanted to give him hugs and pat his head…it was quite cute.

 The one time Steve wasn’t freaking out about the cold water when we tried to get him to go past the beach.  He was perfectly happy throwing rocks in the water, swimming didn’t interest him much!
