It’s been awhile…

We’re here, I swear!  Life is much busier with 2 kiddos!  So here’s some pictures to tell ya what’s been going on…

Dan

My little happy baby.  Dan is seriously so happy!  Especially now that he’s mostly on the bottle!  Unfortunately, nursing just doesn’t work for very long with my boys.  I am having a much harder time not feeling guilty this time.

Snow Day

Steve was really annoyed that he had to bundle up so much!  And he did not like falling in the snow!  If it got on his gloves (or “snomans” as he calls them) he would freak out.  Needless to say, this was a short day in the snow!  Just long enough to try and climb up the swing set!  I had to help, he was way to bundled!

Projects 

I have been in a super big project mood lately!  Here’s what I’ve done so far…

A car seat tent.  This probably my number one baby must have!  I’ve seen these all over the web for sale for like $50 each.  So, being the cheap mamma that I am, I figured I could make one for way cheaper.  I was right, and I LOVE it!  I even made one for Jesse’s sister who had a baby in December.  Whoever came up with this idea is a genius!
Dan’s room is currently the office as well, but I did manage to start decorating it!  It’s painted and has curtains!  And here they are.  I also did his name in some fun letters, but haven’t hung them yet, so that picture will be coming soon (I hope!). 

Now on to the project I’m obsessed with now (Shaina, we are so doing these when I come out in April!).  Last time I was at the fabric store, the flannel fabric was on sale for super cheap.  So, I had to buy some and decided to try and make some jammies for my boys.  They are TOO CUTE!  The first pair I made for Steve were dinosaurs, and he refused to take them off for 2 days!  I made some matching ones for Dan, but they ended up being too short (oops! not a professional by any stretch of the imagination!)  Then my friend Angeline and I decided to make the cutest shirts for our boys, and they are DARLING!  We were both just in love with them!  So I made a shirt to match the next jammies I made, monsters (or aliens, not sure).  Steve loves these too, and had to change back in to them when we got home today!

I know, they’re loud…but I love them, and so does Steve!  Don’t look too closely though, I managed to sew the monsters upside down!  (once again, NOT a professional!)

The guitar shirt (front) or “tar” shirt as Steve calls it.  Angeline made one (that I basically copied) for her little guy, Tal.  Steve and Tal both showed up the nursery at the gym wearing their guitar shirts!  It was quite cute!

Well, that pretty much sums it all up!  But don’t worry, there are a few very busy weeks coming up!
