Best Friends

Every day Jesse asks Steve who his best friend is, he always says daddy.  But, I think Ali is a close second!  They are best buddies and spend a lot of time together!  Cammie and I are so grateful that they play so well together (most of the time!).  They’re practically siblings!

We babysit swap with Ben and Cammie for date night once a month.  So, for this particular night, I promised Ali I would make her some pants (since I’d been making them for Steve).  I dug this fabric out of my scrap pile (recognize this mom?!) and she loves them!  I also made her some bright blue and flower ones.  Then I made her some matching scrunchies or “crunchies” as she called them.  Cammie was so happy!  (wink wink!)  Apparently it took some convincing that these were jammies and not every day pants!  I love being an aunt!

Basketball

Last winter I coached Jer and Briggs for their first season of basketball.  I was really bummed that I didn’t get to do it this year (new baby and all!), but managed to make it to most of their games.  I love watching them play!  It brings back memories!   And Steve thought it was the best!  They had 2 girls from the ward on their team too.  This is Clementine (her mom, Janie, is holding Dan in the background).

Yes, Another Project!

A while ago, I made an upholstered headboard for our bed.  Well, recently, Cammie and I were at the fabric store and I fell in LOVE with this fabric and just had to have it for our room.  So, not even a year later, I re-did our headboard and then made some pillows too.  I feel like our bedroom is a slow work in progress.  I still don’t have anything on the walls yet, except a giant mirror that Jesse got us for Christmas.  Hopefully pictures on the wall will come soon!
