The last week of August, Jesse’s best friend from way back when came with his fam to visit us here in MO! We had SO much fun! The Smith’s are a blast, and it was so fun to do stuff here that we’ve never taken the time to do! Here’s a very lengthy photo journey…
Our first stop was Purina Farms. We had AMAZING weather pretty much the entire time and so we did a lot outside! Our fave!
We made it for the end of the dog show…just in time to see the dogs catch the frisbees into the water!
My cute Dan!
Our fam at the park.
The kids playing in the lake…another beautiful day!
Then we spent a day at The City Museum in St. Louis. All I can say is AWESOME! This place, seriously rocks! I can’t believe I’d never been! Abbie and Steve in the giant ball pit.
This was crazy! It’s like the world’s ultimate jungle gym!
Peek-a-boo!
Dan liked driving the fire truck!
I don’t know if I can truly describe the type of place this is, but this is one of the MANY slides…Steve loved it!
He had to do it a couple times…
So did daddy and Dan!
Insane, right?!
Inside there’s all this really cool stuff, including this random Big Boy statue! We used to call Steve big boy when he was a baby!
Then there’s the 10 STORE SLIDE! We climbed forever, and got really dizzy coming down! But it was way cool! Even baby Dan did it with Jesse! (Jesse was a trooper and hauled Dan all over this place! and I was on camera duty!)
This was not the 10 story slide, just another fun one that we did on our way out!
It wasn’t very fast, so Jesse had to scoot down!
In between all the fun things we did, we ate at Super Smokers twice…best BBQ ever! We seriously had a blast with these fun people! Jesse and Jake got to stay up and play video games, Amber and I went shopping (with no kids!!), we played games, ate WAY too much (what is it about vacation and eating?!), and can’t wait to go visit the Smith’s in Salt Lake sometime soon! It was a great way to end the summer!

Thanks for the good time! I'm so glad we came to visit! Just 20 more years and Stevie and Abbie can get married, and we'll show that pic at their wedding! And sorry about the blurry family picture at the lake- apparently I don't know how to use a camera :)
