For my birthday this year (which really isn't until April) Jesse sent Steve and me out to California. I have been wanted to go back and visit ever since we left, but haven't been able to until now! It was a blast! Steve was great, I had just about zero problems with him (thankfully!) and I got to see every one I wanted to! We started off by flying into Orange County and Stayed with Jesse's sister Rachel and Rusty and 5 kiddos. Then we met my best friend Tiffany and stayed with her and hubby Bryce and 2 kiddos in Temecula. Then we took a 4 hour train from Orange County to Santa Barbara to stay with my other best friend Jen and her hubby and 0 kiddos and to see some old college friends. I have such a wonderful husband to let me stay away for almost 2 weeks while he was busily working here in the middle of tax season! And as if he wasn't sweet enough, when I did finally come home, I came home to a wonderfully clean house! He really is amazing and I love him so much! Steve and I missed him a lot while we were gone, and I think he missed my cooking! (and me!!).
While I was in CA I was on a mission to eat at all of my favorite places. Well, mission accomplished! Where we ate: BJ's Pizza, Del Taco, Pick Up Stix, Pascucci, Elephant Bar, The Habit, In-N-Out (twice), East Beach Grill, Los Aroyos, and Cold Stone (3 times!)...YUM!! CA has the best food!
Anyway, I've posted a separate post from each of the 3 places we stayed.
