Santa Barbara is absolutely beautiful. I can't believe how much I forgot in 2 1/2 years! It was so fun to go back to the place I called home for my first 2 years of college. I was so lucky to live in such an amazing area! Steve and I stayed with my friends Jen and hubby Chris. It was so good to see them! Jen and I (and Steve too!) met up with our long lost gal pal Melanie and had breakfast on the beach, on a gorgeous day! Steve got to touch the sand with his toes for the first time; he was so cute! We walked all over Santa Barbara, including shopping and the Pier and Boardwalk. Steve was such a trooper and did SO well! It was so much fun!! Here's some pics!
It was so warm we actually went to the pool! Steve dangled his feet in the water, but it was freezing!

We had dinner with my old roomie (Marisa, next to me) and old dorm-mates Katie and Heidi. It was so fun to see them!!

Cute posts Em, looks like you had a GREAT time on your birthday trip. Your babe is so adorable. I can't believe how much you look like you mom... and your dad but I see a ton of aunt Meri in you! Your cute. What a great man you found to do this for you! Hold him tight with both hands. :)
