Saturday we went out to a big BBQ with lots of people from our ward on the Coleman's lake. They have tons of fun stuff to do, and we always like going out there. Jesse actually fishes out there quite often. Saturday, we ate lots of yummy food, rode jet skis, Jesse did a little fishing, rode 4-wheelers, and had fun with friends. Steve was great, he even fell asleep on one of the young women for a good hour or more! Of course this gave mommy time to enjoy quite a long time on the lake riding one of the jet skis. We tied a tube behind it and I took it upon myself to see how many kids, youth, and adults from the ward I could throw off the tube. I had a blast, and was able to dust every last person! Oh what fun!
We spent all afternoon having fun on the water, and then that night Jesse and the "brotherhood" had a fight night. I don't think I've ever posted anything about this exciting group and monthly get togethers. A bunch of guys from our ward, the "brotherhood" as they've come to call themselves, get together once a month (sometimes more) to watch the UFC fight on pay per view. They've been doing this for awhile now, and somewhere along the line, Jesse and his buddy Matt (the two usual hosts) decided to make the gatherings a little more interesting. They have this whole point system and everyone picks the winners of each fight and how they when and what round the win in, and then at the end of the night the winner gets this enormous belt. Jesse found some website that will make these belts however you want, so of course he had to have one! It even says something about the brotherhood on it. Us wives think its quite funny! Anyway, Jesse was the winner of the last fight night, so this is the belt on Steve before Jesse went to watch the fight. He lost the belt to someone that night, by 2 points I think. Next time babe!
