Snacks and Cartoons

I am constantly amazed at how much Steve learns and picks up on. Lately, whenever he wants a snack (which is always), he will grunt at the closed pantry door (only at the side where he knows the snacks are) until I open it. Then while I am finding a snack for him, he goes and tries to open the baby-proof locked drawer where he knows the plastic bowls are. Then, in order to eat his snack, I muse put whatever it is in a bowl and he is happy. Sometimes, he even goes and opens the silverware drawer (which he can't reach into yet, thank goodness) and beg for a spoon or fork. He has to have everything right to eat his snack! It really is quite funny to me, still! And hey, it totally works...he'll walk around with his bowl of dry cheerios (or whatever...it's been cocoa puffs lately sadly) and be happy as can be. Occasionally, gets bored of his snack and it does end up all over the floor...but it's worth the happiness and distraction! What's even funnier (and I cannot believe I let him do this in our bed) is that Steve really loves to eat his snack (from the bowl of course) in our bed, watching cartoons or Baby Einstein. This works perfectly when I need to get ready. But, in order for this to really work, he must have a remote and his puppy too! I swear, I think Steve is so strange sometimes! Strange in a really cute way of course! Anyway...here's Steve laughing at something on TV!
