Apple Picking

This is seriously the best time of year in MO.  Until this past week, which has been wet and cold, we’ve had some beautiful fall weather.  So what do we do?  Get a group of us to go pick apples!  We did this last year for the first time, and loved it so much we had to do it again!  Last year it was HOT this year it was perfect!  With the exception of a little mud!  And the apples this time...WOW!  If you haven’t tried Mutzu apples, you are seriously missing out!  All the kids and dads were chowing down before we even left the orchard!  YUM!  I love apple season!  IMG_3579 Steve and Tal taking a wagon ride.

This is the second year we’ve gone to this orchard.  The pic on the left is from last year, and the one on the right is from this time.  Jesse loves to have Steve’s picture in front of the height chart!  I think our little monkey has grown!

IMG_3515Steve loved picking the apples...especially when he got to eat one!

Jesse helped him get the good ones up top!

We of course tortured the kids into tons of pictures, even though they were way more concerned about eating the apples.

Ali, Briggs, Jer, Steve, and Madeleine
(Steve chomped on his apple the entire day!)

Our fam...I am still prego, I’m just good at covering up!

Cammie and I always forget to get a picture of us, so here we are.  I think the last picture we have of the two of us from Thanksgiving last year!

This weekend we’re going to the pumpkin patch!  Yay!
