My Baby is 2!

Yesterday was Steve’s 2nd birthday.  I cannot believe that he is TWO!!  It seriously seems like just yesterday that I was pregnant with him (and not because I currently am pregnant!!). 

We had quite the little party for our big guy.  Grandma and Grandpa came, Steve’s cousins Jer, Briggs and Ali and Aunt Cammie and Uncle Ben.  Plus his best friends Madeleine and Tal and their families (Molly, Kasey, baby Olivia, Angeline, and Emma).  We opened presents and ate animal cupcakes that I worked very hard on that day!  Jesse and I got Steve a swing set for his birthday that is pretty awesome.  Jesse and Ben spent all day Saturday setting it up and staining it and then its been pouring buckets of rain ever since, so nobody could play on it like I wanted them to last night!  It’s a muddy disaster in our backyard right now.  Rain rain go away!  Steve still hasn’t gotten to play with his birthday present! 

Unfortunately, the flash on my camera will not work, so the pictures are a little funky.  I did some editing, but I basically don’t know what I’m doing!  Enjoy!
  The cupcakes.  Steve LOVES animals, so I made some animal cupcakes for him.  He even knew what each one of them were!

The kiddos…Ali, Jer, Steve, Emma, Madeleine, Briggs, and Tal.  They look like a crazy mom is torturing them by taking too many pictures!  They really wanted to keep playing with all the balloons!

 
Steve had the goofiest look on his face the whole time we sang to him, but he knew what to do as soon as we were finished!
