BIRTHDAYS! This time of year is packed with birthdays in our family! Jeremiah started us off by turning 8! He will be baptized at the end of this month and is so excited! We LOVE having Ben and Cammie and their kids nearby, and Steve especially loves getting to play with his cousins all the time. So, to celebrate Jer’s big day, we ate cake and opened presents at his house. Grandma and Grandpa came too. I helped Cammie make the PERFECT cake for Jer. . .exactly what he wanted, a Bass fish!
We ate Jer’s favorite dinner together, pork chops and mashed potatoes, and then opened presents and ate the fish cake. Don’t worry, it was very chocolaty, not at all fishy!
While we were waiting for everyone, we took some cute cousin pictures...
Jer got a fish for his birthday, and Steve just thought it was the coolest thing ever! Cammie got it that day and so Ali and Steve saw it before Jer. We were constantly trying to keep them from telling Jer about it! Steve walked around all day saying fish, and Ali wanted to tell Jer as soon as he got home from school! Luckily the secret stayed safe, and Jer was shocked when he saw it!
