The Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure was this past weekend in St. Louis. If you ever get a chance to do one of these, DO IT! It is SO AMAZING! There were 5 of us this year, and we had so much fun! We enjoyed a wide array of MO weather though…everything from really nice and comfy, to raining, to super muggy and humid! Typical MO though! It really was neat to see so many people supporting the fight against breast cancer, and to see so many survivors! The 5 of us that walked decided that next year we would run it!
Waiting for the race to start! This year we joined a local radio station’s team and added to the nations largest team, over 7,600 people!! Our team also raised over $211,000…way cool! (Because we joined a team, we got 2 t-shirts, Heather was the only one who wore the team shirt! Go Heather!)
Cammie and me! She held me up so I could get a good picture…
Amazing right?! And we’re in the middle of this long group! There’s just as many behind us!
Heather, Liz and Becky (who is prego by the way! you go girl!)
Me and Cams again!
Some people really go all out!
Bubbles! There was a full on bubble van at one point! Super cool!
And Ronald McDonald! Why not?!
The home stretch…love it!
We finished! Seriously…way fun! I can’t wait to run it next year! (This year we walked the 5K, next year we want to run the 5K!)
