A Wedding!

My little brother Brad got married 2 weeks ago.  I can’t believe it.  My little brother is MARRIED!  As far as I’m concerned he’s still shorter than me and I can totally whoop his butt in basketball!  Of course reality is he’s 6’ 8”, plays college basketball, and married the best girl ever!  Seriously, he couldn’t have found a better wife!  I’m so happy for them!  And the wedding was amazing!  Don’t worry, I took a TON of pictures!

First of all, we flew to Salt Lake on a Friday.  Our flight was delayed 3 hours in St. Louis, and with an extremely tired and cranky Dan, it was not a fun flight.  But we made it and had about an hour before we had to then leave for the wedding dinner for only the most important people involved in the wedding! (wink)  The dinner was great, especially because Dan slept in a room and some of Dani’s (Brad’s wife) cousins watched all the little kids at the church down the street…so Jesse and I were kid free for a few hours!  After the day we had, it was refreshing!  The next day was the wedding and everything was wonderful.  Except that Jesse forgot his temple recommend at the hotel and my little sister Mel and our little cousin Carolyn had to watch 4 children under the age of 3, including a baby, for over an hour!  They rocked it though, and I’m so grateful that they could do that for us so that we could be a part of the wonderful sealing of Brad and Dani.  It was perfect.

Then we did lots of pictures, got something to eat, and made it to the reception…which was also beautiful!  It was fun to be able to catch up with some aunts and and uncle and cousin that I hadn’t seen in forever and also my grandparents!  And of course my family!  I wish we could all see each other more.

While we were waiting for the bride and groom outside of the temple, we took some pics (I know, shocker!)  Our cute family!  Our boys were troopers this day!
