For Steve's birthday, Jesse's parents got him the neatest gift. They got him 2 trees! Jesse and Ben and their dad planted one in our front yard and one in our back yard. Now, Steve's trees will grow with him. And, every birthday, we'll take a picture of him with his tree! I just love this idea! Thanks grandma and grandpa! We love the trees!
Our yard is a combination of clay and buried bricks which made for quite the challenging hold digging experience! 
But, Ben and Jesse did a fabulous job!
Steve thought the tree planting was fascinating! And he thought daddy was funny when he would swing the shovel.
