Halloween!!

I have to say, I love Halloween! I think it is the most pointless and dumb holiday, and really shouldn't even be considered a "holiday" but I LOVE it! (sorry mom!!) I love seeing all the kids cute cute costumes, and I even love dressing up myself! Unfortunately, my sweet husband does not share the same enthusiasm for Halloween as I do, but he did wear a Superman t-shirt! I dressed up as a witch...the coolest witch ever, I might add! And our cute little Stevie was Superman! Or Super-Steve as we called him. I think he was probably the cutest Superman ever to walk earth, but I'm a bit biased.
The weekend before Halloween, we went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat (pictures still to come...Cammie!!!), and then for Halloween, we had several families over for fun Halloween treats and then took all the kiddos trick-or-treating. We had so much fun! I made some yummy silly food, and had tons of fun decorating. Steve loved having all the kids to try and follow. Every time the big kids would run up to a door, he would try his hardest to follow. All the kids were SO cute, and we all had so much fun! Some of the men manned (ha ha) the candy at home, and did a wonderful job, thanks guys! Oh, and the weather was beautiful! Perfect in fact! I'm already planning what we'll do next year! Happy Halloween!!

A porch full of spooks! There were 2 Supermen, 2 Batmen, 3 Pirates (plus a mommy pirate), 1 clown (the CUTEST clown you'll ever see!), 1 pumpkin, a ballerina (or maybe a princess?!), and 1 devil! Cuteness!

Me as a witch with our cute Super Steve! How awesome are my eyes?!

Here's the adults that dressed up (plus Super Steve and Tal the pirate, and his parrot!). Ben was such a good sport to be batman! Go Ben!

Our friend Janie brought a wagon to haul around tired kiddos, and they ALL wanted in. This is as many cute kids as we could fit! Ali the clown, Cooper the pirate (complete with dreadlocks and a goatee), and Abree the princess.

Steve loved riding in the wagon with Ali. He kept trying to steal her candy and making her quite mad! I love it!

There are 8 children in the Hamai family, and Janie (the mom) and at least 4 of her kids all dressed up as pirates...they were so cute! Here she is with her youngest, Cooper, who had the best pirate costume ever!

Jesse never had time to change after work, so we can say he dressed up as an accountant!

This was probably my favorite part of Halloween this year. I gave Steve a sucker...and he went to town! He loved it! And was so cute eating it!

I forgot to take pictures of my cute decorations and food before we started eating and trick-or-treating, so this is after everything...but you get the idea!

This was my cute centerpiece. I spray painted branches black, and hung candy from them! I loved it!
Can't wait til Halloween next year! Maybe I can get Jesse to dress up...ha ha!

What a great party! You're very creative. Jake is the exact opposite from Jesse- he LOVES to dress up. In fact, I can't keep him from dressing up even when it's NOT Halloween. . . He wore three different costumes this year, a different one for each party. Tell Jesse he's a party pooper- I know he used to dress up with Jake, and I have some incriminating pictures if you need them!

All the pictures look so fun!! You are so creative; the center piece looks so cool! I love Halloween so much... it's a little ridiculous. Your costumes are way cute too. I love your eyelashes! You look gorgeous! I was a witch last year... I think it is my favorite choice of costumes. Tomm doesn't appreciate Halloween or dressing up as much as me either. I love how fun it is for kids though. We just stayed home and answered the door; it was so fun!
