Happy Birthday Dan!

Our little baby boy turned 2!  I still can’t believe it!  And I’m still trying to figure out where the past 2 years went!  The weekend before Dan’s birthday, we decided to move him into a big boy bed.  Jesse and I refinished some old beds Cammie had (they are actually the ones Jesse and Ben used when they were little!) and got the room all set up for the boys.  I was a little nervous moving Dan so early, even though we moved Steve even earlier, but he has done great!  He LOVES being just like his big brother and loves being able to get in and out all by himself.

On Dan’s actual birthday, Liz and Charlie (who were in the process of moving) gave us their trampoline!  The boys were in heaven!  They loved it at the Blackburn’s house, and were way excited to have it at ours now!  I was watching Beau that day, so it was even more fun!

Finally, it was time for some super hero cupcakes and presents!

But first, a few more pics of our birthday boy!  I mean, come on!!  How cute is he?!! And how cute are these Batman brothers?!!  (have you noticed a theme in our house right now?  Can anyone say SUPER HEROES!) I’m 2!  or 1+1! Birthday boy and mamma! Birthday boy and daddy. The cupcakes…I had a few issues, so they aren’t perfect, but Dan loved them! These 3 couldn’t stay away from the cupcakes! Presents first! Dan sure is loved! Steve picked out super heroes for Dan (shocker!) And Dan got a Spiderman/Green Goblin playhouse thing from us.  Both boys loved that one! Time to sing! Dan blew the candles out early…oops! Cheese!!
