I’ve decided that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love the food, I love the family time, I love having it at my house, I love the pie, I love Black Friday…I love everything about Thanksgiving! And this year did not disappoint! We had way too much food and pie (as usual), great people, and great Black Friday deals!
Miriam and me in the middle of trying to get all the food on the table, and keep it all warm!
The waiting area…we rearranged furniture to maximize eating space!
The kid table. We’re missing a few kids in the pic, but you get the idea!
The adults after stuffing our faces! Molly, Kasey, Ben, (and Cade!) Cammie, Emily, Jesse, Grandma Great (my grandma), Kathy, Steven, Charlie, Liz, Marcus and Miriam.
The kids: Libby, Ali, Drex, Cade, Jer, Dan, Briggs, Quin, Garrison, Olivia, Beau, Steve, Lorelei, Madeleine and John. It was GORGEOUS weather, so the kids spend the entire day outside! Love it when that happens!
Waiting for pie. Kasey gets the gold star for cleaning this year! He rocked the clean up!
I couldn’t resist making these cute place settings…I mean so cute, right?!
Is anyone surprised by this picture?! The only thing missing is my face in there!
Once we were stuffed as full as possible, twice, and the kids finally came inside, the Christmas list making began! Can you see Charlie and Liz totally passed out in the back?!
Cutest cowgirls ever!

Me and my man…I’m thankful for him.
Somehow I missed getting pictures of everyone else! Don’t know how that happened!
Us girls totally rocked Black Friday (again!). We left for Wal-Mart at 9:00pm on Thursday, got what we wanted there and also hit up GameStop and Kohls, making it home by 3:30 am Friday! While Cammie and Liz were waiting on the last deals at Wal-Mart, I stood in line for us OUTSIDE of GameStop for AN HOUR!!! It was COLD! But I got everything we all wanted! Then we stood in the checkout line at Kohls for an hour. Even writing this now that sounds insane, but it’s so fun! Of course, I would never do it alone, it’s the people that make it the most fun! We rock girls!
I have to mention too, the thankful book. Last year I started a thankful book where everyone who comes to Thanksgiving is forced to write down what they are thankful for. It’s now one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving. It was fun to read what everyone wrote last year and to see who was here. I also added pictures from our feast last year, which was fun to look back on. I am so grateful for such wonderful people to share my favorite holiday with. Now bring on Christmas! My second favorite!
